National Geographic – National Geographic’s Education homepage. From here you can find lesson plans, maps and photos, explore grants other teacher opportunities as well as review current events. Join EdNet (it’s free) to get even more content.
NCSE – The National Center for Science Education is a clearinghouse for information concerning the hot topic of teaching evolution vs. creationism in the classrooms of the U.S.
NTSA – National Science Teachers Association site. Note that there is a substantial subscription discount for students and new teachers.
Material Worlds – This site contains lots of fun, interactive simulations for learning many scientific principles.
EPA Teaching Resources – A collection of websites and documents that can be used to explain/explore environmental topics.
AAAS Science NetLinks, A variety of science resources for teachers, parents and students including games, videos, lesson plans, etc.

Math Forum – Drexel’s own nationally-recognized mathematics site helps teachers and students alike.
MathWorld – “The web’s most extensive mathematics resource.”
NCTM – National Council of Teachers of Mathematics site. Note that there is a substantial subscription discount for students.
BBC Teachers – Get some ideas for lessons. Excellent resource for teachers both in the UK and abroad.
goENC – For a minimal fee ($29.95), you gain access to resources to assist you with teaching math and science. Check to see if your school has (or can purchase) a license!
